Nice. Hubby uses Ruger 22. I don't like pellets in them. To hard to dig out.

Very nice. I'm planning on getting after some with my daughter here pretty soon. Perfect weather for it lately.

Now that's getting some non=targeted species, but they eat really good. Got to bust that little skull to get to the brain....spoon works good...

When I started hunting them as a lad my grandma would make me keep the heads and she loved the brains and cheek meat but never got into it myself. But love to fry them up and only a few that were older for stew so that was nice.

Killed 9 more next morning and had my limits. Dropped off bunch for my son and his crew for great spicey stew they love to make. Time to leave but buddy said the crappie just came in and several of our friends had limited out, so looking forward to coming back for them soon.
