    Default Elk River/Sportsman Park

Me and the wife put in at our home ramp and went upriver for a couple of hours. This was my first trip this fall and many of our favorite tops got removed during a flood this summer. We managed a couple with one of the biggest black nose I have caught. Hung several that took over the fight and got hung in the tops. Released those two at a top closer to the ramp.

Congrats on a good day even though you didn't load the boat. Sounds like you enjoyed it and that's what counts.

Nice black nose! Guess it's time to start looking for some new tree tops since yours moved. Always fun to figure out new structure and places to fish.
