I went yesterday a little further S and found the same thing 82 degs. The water was up due to the big rain Tuesday.

On the Bone --- But the fish are starting to change patterns. On the flats found no Crappie hanging around stumps and the Shad are broke up into tiny bait balls. The magic depth was over 15 feet to find big schools of shad --- the weird thing was Crappie were not following them -- all the shad are close to the surface 5 to 6 foot down. Those larger Shad have started their move into the channel. My usual places for Cats are Loaded with Fiddlers 4 inches long, And places 12 foot , Explosives would have been Ineffective,, Same story over 20 feet deep as well --- Fished from 7 to 3 and only put 14 Cats big enough to hit the Grease ---- All of this is just in time for The D'Arbonne Gathering --- I Hope we get Into them good this year

Thanks for the great report, Larry.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
I've been catching them around 16 ft deep like you said away from stumps
