    Default Wylie Crappie 10/3

Had an awesome day vertical fishing jigs. We kept 2 limits and threw back approximately 20 more. Fish deep brush, most were caught old school on a yellow tube jig. Best day I’ve had in quite a long time.

Today convinced me how important it is to have good brush. Fished my friends brush. Gotta get busy making my own. He doesn’t mind me fishing it and said he would give me the location of all of them. Just don’t feel right fishing without him. Gotta find a source for bamboo and get busy.

I haven’t been fishing Wylie, but jigging deep brush is exactly how I catch my fish at Santee. Good brush in the right locations are deadly. Congrats on the catch and report

Congrats on finding the crappie and catching.
Gotta love brush pile fishing this time of year.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
