    nice fish bro ….have you started looking shallow yet ? you when the temps start to drop the first thing a baitfish does is head shallow to warmer water ….what follows is the crappie ….
    there will be a time when some go deep , but it aint no where near that right now ….
    tip a the week brother …..the mother load could be in short waters ...just saying

    Oh, yes, mighty crappie guru. We are seeing smaller bait balls on shallower brush. Decades of chasing pickles (not sure why) educated us on shad/minnow movement. And like you said, the crappie are where the baitfish is. I appreciate the heads up and will start searching. Thank you. Dennis
