Thread: trying to catch crawfish for a boil

guys if you have ever set traps in the lake and caught them what am i doing wrong

Wrong time of the year, wrong kind of traps, wrong kind of water. Best time to fish crawfish is in the spring. Those are minnow
traps but they will catch a few crawfish from time to time. You need pillow traps. Look for them in shallow water that holds
vegetation that they feed on.
