    Default Remembering Chuck Auten...


    I remembered a Home Page article from long ago about a Lake Monroe Slabfest Chuck Auten was at. I remember I had taken some pictures of him there. So today I searched around and found it. The article in it's entirety is here: https://www.crappie.com/crappie/cont...at-Lake-Monroe

    Here's a pic from that article where Chuck was showing off his catch. Read the article though too, it seems so long ago. It was before my move to Florida. Many familiar faces.

    don`t have any picks. but do remember one time I went to Talquin my motor went out he gave me a ride on his boat. caught 10 crappies in just a couple of hours. the most I ever caught at Talquin. great man and fisherman . not only crappie but cats also.RIP Chuck.
