    Default Happy Crappy C-PaP Day

Getting old bites, really. This summer I was approved by the CFO (wife) to purchase a JDM rod for my panfishing forays. After reading all that Alphahawk, LedHed, DBD, and others have written and demonstrated in pictures and videos I decided a birthday present from Japan would be forthcoming in early September. Also this summer I was referred by my primary care physician to undergo a sleep study to determine if I suffer from sleep apnea. You probably see where this is headed. My sleep test confirmed what my wife has lamented for years, I snore and need a C-PaP machine. I turned 51 this past Monday, finally ready to order my JDM rod, and the Medical Supply place in town calls and says they have my machine ready to pick up. Not having met my deductible and insurance not footing the entire bill my JDM rod flies out the window faster than a pinto bean fart. So after a couple nights of fighting with this full face air breathing contraption I told my wife I was going fishing after work in hopes of catching some fish and tiring myself out in order to sleep better while hooked up to “my new JDM rod” Happy Crappy C-PaP Day.

Well the fish did not disappoint, with a TARP joining some nice 12in fish in the bucket. I think the fish sense the change in the impending weather and were feeding up before the storm. I used Strike King Mr Crappie Shad baits in Pearl color and found fish in mid range 12-14ft brush.

So maybe next month I will get that new rod. Until then, a good nights sleep while enjoying these Golden Years will suffice.

You guys are still just young-uns! Very nice catch! That JDM rod would be nice, but that Darth Vader machine...that’s classy for sure! The only reason that I don’t wear one is that I have never had the sleep study done! That being said, a nice Dr. is gonna cram a scope down my gullet tomorrow afternoon. Payback for all the fish that I’ve gut hooked, I’m sure! I agree, getting old bites!

Nice catch and report. There are many different c pap devises mask or nose pillows type to try and get accumulated to.
I have been using one for about 10 years. Once you get use to it you cannot sleep without it.
    Stay healthy and keep catching.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

I did sleep a little better after catching some fish but this thing is a booger to get used to. My wife sure appreciates the lack of snoring Happy Crappy C-PaP Day
