    Default Terrova Ipilot Transducer question.

All the pics I can find show a transducer that extends below the bottom of the motor. The one I just got is slightly recessed into the nose of the motor. There is a cable on the top side that looks like it connects to my unit, however, when I got it there was a separate ducer hose clamped to the bottom and the wire running outside the shaft. Not sure what I am dealing with here.
    Stick yo jig in there!

My terrova has that same recessed trans diver set up. They only offered it a year or two then went back to the bulbous transducer. Look at our side transducer cable. Should be a tag buy end that hooks to unit. You can look up that number and find out what it fits. One installed in motor is for 2d only. No telling what the other one fits. Which unit do you have?

Someone strapped an external transducer to it because the built in transducer sucks.....
