Default Here it is Dawgg, Wylie 8,28

Decided to go old school ( minnows, hook , weight) since nothing lately was working, not that I have been fishing often.

Anyway, I took 2 long rods, 1 short for casting, 1 short with slip float.

Put in at Allison ramp, tried old favorite spot #1 with slip float over brush, nothing.

Moved to favorite #2, w slip float, long rods, nothing.

Onto #3 w long rods, slip and casting jig rod.

Got a bite on long rod, and another and another x 9. Kept 6 nice ones. Missed 3 , one at the boat, another nice fish, (Thanks Big Dawgg, I could feel you looking over my shoulder)

Just as I got 2 in a row i noticed my slip rod drifting close to the TM. And of course, it got wrapped big time.

So I ended up losing that spot and that ended the day

    6 nice crappie

    1 small perch

    2 slimers, one broke off.

    Dead calm water.

Now to check on that TM

That's not bad compared to some I've seen.

Good report Brett. That auto line taker offer is finicky, you have to really read up on the instructions. I know a guy who was fishing the towers at lake Murray for stripers at night, his line got caught up in the trolling motor, he thought it was a fish and comminced to fighting it. This went on for 20 seconds before he realized it was the trolling motor
    HEY,,WATCH THAT YELLOW ROD
