I guess I lost my mind for a while so after churxch I went back to work on it. I just had a strong desire to finish the butt wrap today.

With the wrap finished I now make certain where my fore grip will be and begin to put an over wrap of thread on the reel seat end of the rod so that my fore grip will cover the rough end of the decorative wrap.

the only reason I use blue was to show how I was trimming the end of the wrap without using an exposed trim band.
