    This one come from a site I learned how to tie on and use it's a fly fishing site, but they do good stuff!

    Looks like it would be a good one for bluegills Skip Do you have to have a diecutter For the shell Or the back.
    I guess I should've clicked on the link Below that beetle That is a pretty cool site They give you all the instructions on how to tie different patterns I bookmarked it Thank you Skip for posting.

    I know it's a fly , but do you think it could be tied on say a 1/64. Just a thought. Still it's cool, thanks for the post.

    I don't know how good it will catch fish because the beetle skip posted is a top water fly but i have tied one on a jig.(I had to try it.LOL)
    This one is a 1/32 jig but it could be tied smaller.I split the tail so it would curve through the hook.

    Good effort on your tie, very nice!

    Hey I am not sure the fish will know they don't sink, lol! Anyway yes and if I tie it then will use it with my fly rod in May for Blue Gill.

    Skip are you taking a piece of foam in cutting your own body out I think I do have some foam To give it a shot Don't know what color I hope I have black

    Hobby Lobby has some sheets of 2 and 3 MM foam in many colors for cheap. 1 sheet is about a lifetime supply for me.

    Yes I loaded up on the foam years ago and never use it, but will soon start tying some for my fly rod!
