A friend of mine sent me these pics of some dead carp from the New Johnsonville area that they saw today. They said there were “hundreds”. Just curious if anyone else had seen this in the last few days and what the explanation might be. It was a welcomed sighting if you ask me!

Hopefully it's a species specific biological agent that no one will ever admit that they released in the lake.
My guess is someone left a net in the water, and cleared it out when nobody was around them.

I've killed at least 6 with the outboard this summer. They are so thick in some places that prop collisions are unavoidable. I had silvers flying up around the boat on Barkley two weeks ago, One of them misjudged and smacked the bottom of the boat so hard, you would have thought I hit a stump.
