Was good to see Mike and Sylvia. Well my go to area for early fish was a bust only got 3 lost two nice ones at the net. Then nothing, moved to Mikes area and it was game on. By then so was the heat, caught lots of fish. Moved over to the west shore to finish up. Caught nicer average fish. I think I could have caught them all afternoon if the sun and heat didn't drive me off the water. Still feeling it this morning, got up, cleaned fish, went back to bed. Cleaned 19 (only because I kept to many small ones to start with) Need to make up an umbrella holder on my boat before I go back after them. Jeff, Mike, did you notice all the people spider rigging for specks?? Didn't see them catch any tho but I wasn't watching that closely.
Still feeling like crap, but it sure was fun yesterday, come on cooler weather.

I was so glad to hear you & Mike found a producing area, when I did the lap around the lake to spot the orange bay or star craft boat, couldn't say I was observant enough to look at set-ups & I was the only 1 fishing in my area, but did notice that any amount of debris in the water appeared to be in the north end, didn't note seeing it in the west end....

Yes I watched the 1 guy for at least an hour or better and never saw him lift a pole. But the guy by us had to of been in 5' of water. He was working the edges of the Kissimmee grass.

Good deal. Might have to journey over before long. Might not make it before the October trip though.

Dang, nice mess Mike & Jeff - guess the higher water all summer is helping at least for Monroe.
This is gonna kill me now as I still have yet to find someone to fix my boat. Last year guy got me for $650 and didn't fix issue..not going back to him.
Recently I just got it back from another guy & it sat for 3.5 weeks at his place and never even got looked at.
Been waiting on a call from new guy no response yet, he has so many boats to work on and told him to call when he is actually ready to work on boat.
Got me a place to bowhunt this year too so been spending time in the woods & trying to get ready but really wanna get on the water.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
