I have 2, or should say, had 2 8' BnM West Point Crappie rods and they work well pulling jigs. They are cheap too. $19.99 at Walmart. I'm glad they're cheap because mine have come up missing. I just wish that the Pfleuger president reels that are on them were still here.

For a rod to jig with, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed with any glass rod. I have single pole fished with the 8' BnM's but they aren't nearly as sensitive as a graphite pole.
