    Default Red revisited

Went back to the Red Sunday pm. Started out with no bites for about an hour, and moved to a ridge that I have caught them on before. Had been fishing big stumps, but lately it seems the small sticks especially those in clumps were better. That proved the case this time. I caught or almost caught 10(had some early releases. They bit for about 2 hours, then the sky cleared up and they turned off! Got some nice ones, but you should have seen the one that got away!

I don’t know haven’t checked lately. Sure is a pretty fish though.

Not big enough. 13.5" long. But the one that got away was much larger! Maybe in the spring. I need to come down and fish Larto again. I've got kinfolks near Ferriday, and grew up in Pineville. I fished Larto in May iirc, and caught some nice bream in the area where KVD won the Major League Fishing Tournament. I launched at the store. Is there a better landing there? That one is a bit scarey!

Thanks so much. I did learn to make sure the driver's side was the inside of the turn backing in, or else you can't see what you are getting into!! Does Uncle Bud have shiners?
