    Default Okatibee 7-28

Nothing to brag about but I finally got to go fishing for the first time in what felt like years. Caught 9 fish. One fell back in the water after decided to set it down to get my phone and take a picture. Anther one is still on my pole. Which just happens to be on bottom in about 20 ft of water. Caught two doubles. One was a perch double and the other a bass double. Lots of people fishing jigs in the creek catching good fish.

I pulled cranks at Okatibbee on Thursday and also had 9 keepers. It's been mighty slow lately. One good thing, I saw a bunch of shad on the depth finder. That may be why the crappie aren't biting artificial baits.
