Default Scouting brushpiles in the heat.

    Took
a minute yesterday and scouted some brushpiles to find what I already knew. Barren. Water temps are turning down 85 now. As they drop the bite wil will pick up and the fish will return. For a short while. Before the winter pattern. I have a light in thirty foot of water and believe it may be good this winter. It has been a long hiot summer this year.

Yes it has been hot. I'm sure it's not over but this week has been a blessing much cooler than the past 6 weeks.

Been the same here on Jordan, working on getting 25 crappie condo's made and dropped by end of August. Water will drop 6 feet for dock repair end of September, and I have major repairs to get done before winter pattern starts!
