Put your big motor in gear. Tim up half way.no problem. When it won't start remember it is in gear.

Havent ever had line in the big motor yet. When my motor isnt running its trimmed up and i leave allitle of the skeg in the water. With my trolling plate you cant leave it down when only using the trolling motor. The reason i like the front is because the boat tracks better, when in the back the front sets higher and catches more wind.I also added a 24volt battery in the front but it didnt help. When trolling from the front anytime i get a fish you can climb out from under the umbrella into the drop down by the console and catch your fish. When you ready to put the pole back out climb under the umbrella and let line out to the desired length and put it back in the holder, works great.

the wife and I have been thinking of putting a bikini top on the boat. I just not sure if I did if I'd have the room to pull them in the back. I have been pulling out front and under a umbrella and it been working ok. I hoping to drag out the back with some shade and have room to swing a pole.
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

With the motor in gear if line hits prop will not wrapped around the prop. If the motor not in gear and if line hits prop it will turn freely then you got a mess.
