On the the water at daybreak and what a beautiful morning to fish. What difference a day makes , went to where we caught perch for bait yesterday and no perch. Searched till around 9:00 before we caught enough perch for bait. Caught 13 catfish , all small ones biggest fish was only 4.2 lbs. Talked to several boats trolling for cats and the story seemed to be the same for them also. Had one to stick me today so I put him in the cooler with a couple of the other ones so I could bite him back next week when I fry fish for the family
