I’ve got lots of those metal pin washers at the shop. I use rubber fender washers when I spider rig with them and the regular metal pin washer when pulling cranks. The 1 1/4 to 1 1/2x 5/16 is the right fender washer. With the fender washers (I use 2 under each holder) it gives you infinite left and right adjustment on the rod holder without dealing with the pin position. A big catfish might move them a bit, but not a Crappie.

Kind of ironic they chose the name Tite-lok, should be called almost Tite-loks until the customer modifies them. Good rod holders after you do the work, but they dropped the ball on field testing that's for sure!

What mods do you do to them?

On the individual holders the widow makers you need to use red (permanent) loctite on the threads where the shaft threads into the base. Also, get rid of the the T handle and put a proper bolt or allen screw in it's place with a real washer underneath the holders between the actual shaft. The wind will turn the holders if you don't or when power trolling or pushing cranks the heads will turn on you fairly easily as well.
