    It can be a hard place to fish but when you do find them they are big.

    Haven’t fish It in years but 20 watt is right, follow the shade the tree throws out in the heat this time of year, works better on isolated trees or groups of trees. Black/chartreuse and white/chartreuse always did well. Of course tops and stumps in the shade can’t be passed up. Therese all kinds of structure under the open water. Don’t forget though you may well be fishing 15-20 ft from the base of the tree when fishing this technique.
