I wish I had it! However, even with my cheap bow unit, when you see this (poor pic quality), you know to fish it.Yes, those were crappie! Setting my jig to just above that depth and drifting through it led to multiple thumps! After they got tired of playing, we moved to the docks. This morning it was sunny and hot, so that meant some dock shooting! I decided to shoot as well as work around the posts, so opted for a Lightning Rod with 2# Vicious, as opposed to my BnM Sharpshooter 6. The docks are where the black crappie seem to congregate on this stretch of the TN River. A purple and chartreuse Shadpole was the ticket today. Shoot and let it fall. I had to shake off the rust, as my shooting was not great at first, but progressively improved with a few more shots. I love to fish this way! Quit at 9:45 due to the heat. Invited these guys home for a meal.

Good looking mixed bag of Slabs. They should eat nicely. Haven’t fished for Crappie since the gills started doing their thing. I hope to try the Crappie this week though, water temperatures are probably above 85 now, they should be deep and hungry!

Dock shooting my favorite! Nothing like snatching a big ol hidden crappie out from those dark spots! Thanks for great report!

'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
