    Much too young, much too soon, I'm sure by friends and family will be missed so much. Prayers for all those impacted. If you got'em wear'em, if you ain't got'em, get'em. PFD's for safety.
    Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

    So very sad, and most likely preventable. I NEVER wore a PFD until I started taking my son fishing. I want him to always wear one and if he sees me wearing one, maybe he always will.

    PFDs are like seatbelts in cars. With the newer ones, there really is no excuse for not wearing one... All it takes is a bump on the head which knocks you out, and the best swimmer will drown when thrown overboard...
    They have not released any more details about this accident, and the news cycle has moved on. Maybe, we can find more info through the local reservoir police dept., so that a similar event might be prevented in the future...
