    Default Happy Father’s Day

Didn’t see that title today, so appreciation to all the dads who are role models.

Boys have been at the bench and busy elsewhere

Went out with pistol, paddling around today. Found a few fish but had to stay close to a bank to dump incoming water in the boat.

He caught em all except one on his jigs he tied. Made me very happy. He’s been trying to bring “the bucket” back to life on his summer break.

A belated Happy Father's Day to you Adam and all fathers. I had a less than perfect day as my daughter's father in law passed away and the wake was held yesterday. The whole day was low keyed but still sad but within reason. The day before I attended my first cousin's funeral which also dampened the mood to be festive. It brought to mind how fragile and short life can be. One of my cousins reminded us that when all the first cousins were alive we totaled 50. Now we total only 20 and I think there is only one younger than I at 73. Enjoy it while you can.

ps: those boys are growing and how nice to have caught the fish on his own jig, congrats you are teaching them well.
