Well, the contract negotiations are completed and it looks like I will be taking a job in Thomasville. We will probably rent a place for a while until we see how the job goes and then sell our house in KY. Probably will take 6-8 weeks to get licensed in Ga., but hope to begin by 8/1. I have really enjoyed fishing Ky and Barkley lakes, but am looking forward to learning all the lakes around Thomasville. From reviewing the maps, it looks like Talquin and Seminole are the 2 largest lakes with 5-6 smaller ones nearby. Hopefully they will be on my lakemaster to reduce the learning curve. Im sure with time I can figure out how to fill a livewell with Ga and Fl crappie.

Congratulations KFC. I have fished Seminole numerous times, it's a tremendous fishery.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
Seminole is on lakemaster but you will need navionics for talquin.

Both are good Crappie Lakes. Use the search button on this Georgia site and search on Both lakes and read. Paradise Public Fishing Area near Tifton is a good fishing hole also. I have never fished this one but you might check out River Creek WMA. Welcome to Georgia...Best Crappie Lake in Georgia is Clark Hill....
Good luck.
