Tried a new spot and it started slow but did very good. Size was good and ran out of 3 dozen minnows before 11:00. Dropped a jig for a few minutes and caught a couple. Kept 17.

No perch this trip. Caught a few while trolling this spring but I'm sure there will be a few at night in the future.

What advice do you have for summertime crappie? Have learned a lot about spring fishing. Interested in warm weather fishing thanks

In the summer I fish at night over a brush pile or a drop-off. I use a LED light to see the rods and it attracts baitfish which attract crappie. I don't fish the bottom, most fish are 10-15 ft deep.

    Whenever you are ready!

How is the night bite at Wylie? I'd like to head that way soon.
