Haven't posted in awhile but here goes. I have been following the fish since they have been coming out of the woods two weeks ago. Caught 39 in the brush along Pelba banks a week ago, then found 20 or so between S Bijeaux and the Levee. Went Friday for 43 nice fish away from the bank in about 8-10 f.o.w. Went again this morning to find fish have moved again, kept 19 . Last two trips fish were caught on 1/32 oz. curly tails cast toward bank and reeled back slowly. Looks like the fish are running nice this year and caught today north and south of I 10 bridge. Popping small jigs ( gray/silver or black/chart.) under a cork in S.Bigeaux produced some fish too. Bottom line, Bijeaux, Pelba, Dupuis Pit area, Dog Leg producing as fish finally came out of the woods. Hope you find a few, too.![]()
