That name doesn't ring a bell for me, but there are lots of people living on the lake. My dad and three uncles went in together and bought a cabin on Upper White Oak back in 1985 and did we ever have some times up there fishing, grilling, running trotlines, playing cards, etc.

My father bought several lots on upper White Oak then Built houses that he sold .. He liked to have folks that lived there build them because there are not many Jobs to be had. Back in the 80s Late one evening I caught The Bream and crappie rising on the surface. Using just the hook and worms with no weight I filled a cooler in about 45 minutes before dark

My favorite time to fish White Oak this time of year is from 6 p.m. until dark. It's almost like someone throws a light switch........many many times from 6 o'clock on you can catch em just about anywhere you want to go.
