Thread: Taylorsville Lake 22-25 May

I took my girls to Taylorsville Lake campground for four days. The fishing was great! The crappie hit almost anything I casted in around 10FOW in timber. I lost of bunch of jigs too as a result. My girls had no problem catching panfish on wax worms on bobbers set at around three feet. It was hot mid afternoon and after my younger one decided she would "take a dip", they both were obsessed with swimming in the lake. I ran to town to get pizza the last night, as I had enough playing chow wagon cook. The campground had nice facilities, but was dirty. We picked up two water bottles full of cigarette butts off of our camp site alone. The showers were dirty, and there were only three people on our loop. When we left Friday every site was booked for the weekend. The girls and I had a great time, and will go back again, as it is less than an hour away.
