    Default Long lining New Adventure

Got to do some reading up on this. Put in at almost 11, caught 20 or so with 3 keepers.
Do y'all use clear line or yellow line?
    What rods? I'm using 2 pinnacle limit 12s and 2 8s bit if I had someone with me I'd need a couple 16s wouldn't I?
Fish from the front or the back?
    That should get this started.

Just assuming your talking about long lining, either that or you done hit your head and got amnesia. I long line one small lake out of my two man boat and use four holders off the sides with staggered rods. If I was going to long line out of the big boat I would prefer to sit on the back deck with two 4 pole holders and adjust them (angle) as needed to fish shorter rods as opposed to pulling off the side with longer staggered rods. I would pull cranks in this fashion, but for some reason I seem to get more action off pulling from the sides as opposed to straight lines out the back.

I long line eight poles off back. Four on each side. 8;10;12; and 14 ft. Rod holders set same as when pull cranks. Ht panfish rods. Pfluger presidents spin cast reels. Six pound diameter braid power pro depth hunter line. Using jigs and roadrunners. Various tube skirts and styles. .9-1.1 speed. It’s works for me but most say I’m not put together right. Call me if you want.

I when long lining, I fish off the back. Same rods that I use for cranks. 16,12,8,4 on each side for two people. But I mostly fish by myself and use a 12 and a 4 on each side in the back.
