    Default fLOWER LAKE ?


    What is the bream fishing like these days over there ? School is about out and thinking about a 3 day trip somewhere about the day after Memorial day . Any other place doing better ? Chotard , Ferguson, Whittington ect . All these used to be super 30 yrs. ago .

    I think Flower Lake is private now, Curtis. Contact rebranger, he lives over there. I'm looking for the same thing.

    Two private lakes in my neighborhood full of bream. Has a boat launch on both lakes. Give me a shout I can get you a pass.

    Yes we privatized Flower Lake at the behest of the major landowner, but you all welcome to come anytime as my guest(s). I have a couple if RV hookup/camping spots too.

    Oh yes, bream are biting pretty good. Went yesterday PM, caught a bunch of 6 - 9" on crickets, bigger ones 10" + on worms about 3 ft deep. Cypress trees are full of them, beds everywhere there's a firm bottom.
