    this is what they look like up close. anything with vanilla flavoring will keep em off of ya. skin so soft is what works best for me just don't go in a biker bar after fishing with that stuff on ya.....might not come out so good.

    So Im assuming these are submerging larva and they will grow up and go away or do they sitck around the rest of the year?

    Repel 100... it's 100% Deet, check out the reviews on amazon.I can tell you that it worked well for me down here in the marshes of Louisiana.

    WOW, thank you all for the replies. How would you use the vanilla extract, wipe it on or spray it on? I can't use deet. I will try Skin so soft.

    I am one that rides the Sawyer Permethrin and Off Deet bandwagon as insect repellent as those have been proved to be effective.
