I have been wanting to try long lining for a long time and kind a like crank bait fishing I thought I needed to get all of the proper equipment and Reels and all this and that and the other before I gave it a try but I have a whole bunch of old jigs and I don’t mind losing So I rig me up about eight double rigs some with 1/8 and 1/32 and Someone with a combination and I went out for two hours and pull those over the sawdust pile and caught seven fish all good fish lost a few Jigs but learned a few things. With my little Bluetooth speaker that I have and Pandora radio I can do this all afternoon

There were a lot of folks long lining on Enid Saturday! They seemed to be doing pretty good!

A BlueTooth speaker and Pandora is the perfect compliment to pulling or pushing.
I’ve learned so much about the Rez by pulling jigs around. I found a small stump field yesterday that I never knew existed. Of course, that knowledge cost me a few jigs but I can’t wait to go spider rig it.

YOU FOUND THAT STUMP FIELD . HOW MANY JIGS YOU LEAVE ?
CATCH THEM ALL.
Ha! We hung all four poles before we got out. Broke two off and straightened two. I use 40lb braid out to a snap swivel then use 10lb double rigs. If the back jig snags it’s going to break the line. The front jigs are 1/16 or 1/32 and they usually straighten before the line breaks.
