I am still poking around for catfish making sure there no other issues with the motor ... I waited for some to leave at mid day to launch about 1 o clock ... I had several places I wanted to fish and the wind was up just short of white capping -- I only managed to boat 5 good fish ... Cleaning those told me why ... their stomach was stuffed full and they were not hungry --- so the morning bite should be good.. I stopped to fill up the tank for the motor -- Three Gallons to top it off without any more trouble .. so I can fish the little D'Arbonne river west of the lake --- Treetops and possibly some Crappie for a change.
Glad to hear you got the motor issues fixed, go get them in the morning.

Mr Larry there are a lot of nice cats below the spillway, been catching them on roadrunners and some tightlining.

Thanks Brad ;;; Part of fishing at Kens landing is the River runs East and west with Hills blocking the wind coming from the South. Nice shade from the Sun is a plus . Mom was in a Nursing home at Farmerville , She was transferred to Ruston late yesterday, so, I am going there to take her things to find where her room will be and see her for a while.

I checked the Solar calendar and the Bite time for the day was 9:15 to 11:15 -- The Major Time
I dont know what the major bite was but I didnt hurt any fish today that's for sure. One catfish in the lake, wind was howling so I put in the bayou across the road from my house and motored up to the spillway. Caught a whole bunch of small perch, let em go.
