Actually I imagine this post occurs every year but I知 calling the Wylie spawn mostly OVER.
Based on Beaverdam creek where I had a tough day of longlining.
    Caught 7 or 8 , kept 4 , and 3 cats released.
Looks like Sir Charles was right . It痴 PERCH JERK TIME!
    Minnows and jigs 7 am-1130

Hey Brett! It aint over until the fat lady sings. Understanding their patterns only tells you they descend like they came in staging different areas now headed back out to the mouths of the creeks by the time the water gets hot in late June/July. They are still plenty catchable....just locate the bait they are after and you've found the fish.

Sounds like a plan to me. Brett if you will let me get in your boat with you we can use some of my jigs. Just ask John , I shared some special jigs with him and Grady at lake Norman.

So far the jigs haven't seen water all I'm doing is working. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I can hire a person to take to load off me.
