I just ordered 50 Nimrod Specials from Southern Pro !!! Now, when they get here.,I better catch them like Nimrod does all the time !!!

I wish you the best with that. I have seen how he catches them, I was fishing the same body of water with the same bait and method, his catch rate is far higher than mine. I saw him answer his phone and still manage two at the same time.

I hate spider rigging , strictly jig poles for me .

Got out late on a different lake this morning . Started about 9 am and back at the ramp at noon with a limit ( 30 ) and released a few more . All caught using same purple jigs and red jig poles . Gave them to an older widow woman camped out so no photo today .

That was a good gesture. Crappie meat is like gold around here. A retired gentleman started cooking it for us once a year at work several years ago and I always enjoy it. For whatever reason, this year I decided I wanted to start keeping some in my freezer. Maybe it's because I just hit 40
