Default First trip to Taylorsville Lake

Went there yesterday with my wife, 12 year old son and my mother who hadn't caught a fish in 20 years and had a blast. We caught about 80 with 24 keepers, I was spider rigging and was burning them up, thanks to a couple guys on here with there help.Name: 0503180939.jpg

    AWESOME !!

Still finding them out away from the bank, I presume ?? Just jigs or jigs tipped with minners ?? Just checking, because we'll be down there Monday and we'll be casting ... but, will also have our Pushing outfits along.

We fished in about 20 to 24 feet of water but was catching the fish from 2 to 5 feet deep, we caught them on jigs, plain minnows and tipped jigs as well, most of them we cleaned were full of eggs. We are going back to fish Monday and Tuesday to try it again
