    No, T Dub .... the Y guard is a flat piece of nylon plastic in a Y shape. The one I use is the one in the top row (1st black one). They do come in black & clear, but I don't know if they come in other colors.

    If I'm forced to fish shallow, thick weeds, I'll opt for a CB Slider head dressed with various colors of - you guessed it - Slider Grubs.

    I rarely go weedless so I have no clue .....like almost never ever ....

    I know a certain someone is going to dog these, as he always does, for their high price. I've fished them in trees and brush all day long, rarely a problem.
