These are good reels for the price, mine are on the 3rd year with absolutely 0 issues. Size 15's are more than sufficient for crappie.

broharrell LIKED above post
These are the ones I use. Have never found any price better. 1/2 oz is a little slow to let out line but 1 oz lets out line great. I use these for spider rigging. Long longing was a bit tough letting line out without helping. Pulling cranks worked just fine.

I use the 15s too. They aren't small but work well. Grizzly jig has pretty good deal on them

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Col 3:1
They aren't that big, not like a saltwater reel or nothing. I only use mine for pulling cranks, planers and long lining occasionally, use low profile bait casters for rigging. You need a little bulk to them, catch all kinds of crap pulling cranks, huge cats, drum, gar, stripes etc. They do not cast though, and when longling straight jigs you will have to basically strip line off by hand, with cranks set it in the water and the resistance pulls the line out for ya. This is a 15 next to a bandit 300, been getting my 40# braid put on my reels and calibrating them, oh yeah it's almost time
