Great Catch! Most of what you have been catching seems to be White Crappie. Are there many Black Crappie in Ft. Loudon or do you target the White Crappie specifically?

We found some. The water is high! Website indicates it is right at summer pool, but sure seemed higher to me. However, it wasn’t muddy. The water temp was 60-61, and we fished from about 7:30-11:00. We kept 8 fish for R&D...and eating! The eggs were loose, sort of pale yellow. I’m not sure what that means, but I’m pretty sure this is the week! We fished in deeper water, like we usually do. I did throw on a float and fished around some blow downs, but no go. It has been a strange, wet, and chilly spring. The forecast indicates that we might be settling down to near normal. Time will tell!
