Brett didn't eat the crayons again did he ? Well the time is upon us. Remember this is a family event. All are welcome. Those that don't belong to Crappie. Com are welcome. Hope we can turn you into a member. We got great weather and the fish are hungry. Gonna have a super chef and his hey boy preparing the meal. Fish are starting to come around after this week of monsoon rain. Lake looks good except way in back of some creeks and main channel will be dirty. But we will do our best to send you in the right direction. Remember your chairs. Don't want anyone sitting on an ant hill. And if you need any special beverage don't forget those. Think we got tea and some sodas. Looking forward to a great turnout. The kids division should be crowded this time. We may even break it up into 2 divisions. Will see how it plays out. Remember you PFD for everyone on your boat. That is state law and ours also. I will do my best to be there as soon as gate opens at 6:00. There are other gatherings there also. We will be the shed to the far right as you enter the ramp/overflow parking split. Will have sign in in the ramp parking area. Gray Dodge Dakota with 17 Tracker on new shiny trailer. Look for an old fat guy with a piece of paper acting like he is confused. He wont be acting. My cell is 803-818-0689 if you need help. But don't give it to any telemarketers. They got it already. Be careful on the roads. Lookin forward to meeting a lot of new friends and plenty of old ones. Lets go fishin !

Well folks Spring Fling Wylie 2018 is in the book. Had the best weather anyone could ask for to fish in. A great turnout was there at 7:00 to splash for a day of fun and fellowship. Had 18 teams sign in for the blast off. Everyone headed to the spot of choice to begin the battle with King Crappo. A special Thanks to CK for getting the map handouts made. Lot of first timers with us today. They were pleased to have a little bit of direction to head off in. Thanks to all those that came out. A special Thanks to The Dawgg ,Mama Dawgg , Scooperdude ,Turkeyfoot . and Chef Ck aka (CrappieKidd) for all you did with this event. Mr brettw himself even pitched in to help out. Thanks Brett. But Thanks to those that came out. Without you folks it wouldn't happen. Everyone caught fish. As normal some more than others. Wylie was as full as I have seen it in many moons. Not bad muddy for most part but lots of trash on the water. I will let the others tell their story. My crew went to back of Big Allison. Started longlining jigs and crankbaits and jig head with a minnow only. Before I got 5 rods out we had 3 fish in the boat. My new fishing buddy was all over them crappie. He was having a blast till bout 10:30 when the late night before started to kick in. Nap time. But the damage was done. He helped put 15 crappie and maybe 20 perch on board before lights out. Thanks Brice ! Hope to see ya'll again on the water soon. Tight lines to ya !

And by the way... His biggest 5 crappie was top dog for the day. Congratulations SLIMEY ! Have more pics and results soon. Nap time for us old folks now !

Thanks to all who prepared the food , it was awesome. A special thanks to you SC boys for all the hard work you all put into this event I really had a good time. Got to meet some great people and put the face to a lot of names on this sight. It was great to see the kids have a good time and the guys who brought there family ; thumbs up to ya. Hope to see you all on the water soon.
