Thread: 4/27/2018 Archusa report

Bass fishermen catch and release. I am just a crappie fisherman and I catch and eat bass. That way they won't bother my hooks next time out crappie fishing. Well the wife and I went about 9:00 am and fished till about noon. We caught a bunch of really small crappie and a few keepers to fillet. They were in 10 to 12' water close to the bottom. Wife used minnows and I used a Southern pro crawdad color grub with a 1/32 head. We had a great day of fishing for sure. Oh and don't worry about those 2 bass I had a couple of good fish sandwiches for supper. Saving the crappie fillets for some really good eating later. Hope everyone is having a great time fishing this spring.
