nice job Derek. Jeremy and I sold our seahunt bx22pro and i bought a 2007 tidewater 190bay with a yammy 4/strk 115 with 500hrs.. it is in good shape. sold the t-top off of it today. probably let it go to cheap but then again; it came with the boat. going to get a bimini for it. will fit better for what we do. those are a couple of good looking ladies. i have seen your bride so glad that they took after her. lol lol. take care . see you on the river.

Say Hello to Norm Swalgreen if he is around. He is the owner and a golf buddy of mine. Might run into Eatmorecrappie(Mark) over the weekend. He fishes out of there too.
Ray(he won't know who Searay is. LOL)
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men

So, yesterday morning I made a last minute decision to see what was happening. I loaded the bass gear and baitcasters and was off to the lake in the cover of darkness. I was afloat and idling to my first stop by 6:30 AM and things started off a little slow. I stayed put at stop #1 and finally a little action started to show. It wasn't long before the first fish of the morning blew the top off my spook and it only got better from there. Nearly ever stop I made had fish blowing bait out of the water and they were more than willing to take my offerings.

I quit at 10 AM with fish still biting. Final tally was 20 bass boated and 5 solid fish taking the ride home. It was one of the better bass fishing trips I've had in a long while. Took a minute to knock the rust off but by the end of the trip I was back in the swing and I'm ready to try them again!

Which area of the lake were you fishing? Mid lake by chance?

I have been fishing mid lake KHNC. They are on points chasing bait early in the mornings. I've caught them on points close to the main lake and all the way in the back of creeks. No rhyme or reason but they are biting well

Was a very tough bass fishing weekend for me at Murray. Barely got any topwater action at all. Appears the fishers of men tourny out of Dreher was a huge success. I was fired up and ready for action, on water at daylight both days. Pretty much a bust for me this time tho. I will be back down again this coming Sunday to try it again. i love this time of year, but this time i just couldnt make it happen. Glad to see you caught them again tho!
