    Default Beautiful day for fishing

Went to Horseshoe today with ole Hammerhead... scratched out a good mess of crappie fishing minnows around trees. Sorry for no crappie pics, but did catch a nice bass on a 5’ ultralite with 6 lb test with minnow under cork. Also caught a mallard hen coming off her nest in the trees and took photo of her eggs.
The AGFC is coming along with the new ramp. Its gonna be greatly appreciated

Great pics. Those cypress trees remind me of Portia bay many moons ago...

Nice bass Randy glad you guys got to spend some time on the water. I heard the shoe has been pretty crowded lately. I think since the carp have taken over most of the oxbows, other lakes are getting a lot more pressure.

I saw the mallard best Saturday afternoon but couldn’t find a fish in there. Picked up 9 trolling outside the trees. I couldn’t find a crappie in the trees when I got in their out of the wind.
