Thread: High rock 4-26

After getting a message the morning before saying my boat wasnt needed for the Badin event, it was a no brainer to head one last time to HR and put a little more meat in the freezer.

I had the boat on the trailer by 1pm bc i was just tired. Tried a new piece of water and after finding a few key docks, it was non stop. 100+ and all popping with eggs. A lot of the fish yesterday were already spawned out.

Virtually every fish was 8+ inches but was more selective with the chunkier fish i kept.

Was a nice 4 day fishcation finally switching it up from what im used to doing...now back to work. Going back after the striper on the next outings.

On a side note, the mud is coming down lake fast. Mainlake is a mess, but most of the creeks are still clean until you get to the back 1/4. I suspect you may have 2 more days before it all fills in.

Water temp in the morning was 63. When i trailered it was 67.
