Sorry to hear. But happy they caught the crook.

A local bass fisherman had his truck topper broken into recently at a ramp on Cumberland. Theft of boxes and rod/reels came to over $10K. He reported it and local law enforcement arrested a convicted felon with several out standing warrants and recovered the items. Sadly, this story rarely ends well.
For all of us attending the Spring Fling, we need to remember and secure all our tackle, electronics, and personal items at both the ramp and cabin/rooms. Our cabin last year at Holmes Bend looked like the rod room at Grizzly Jig.

I mentioned earlier he was a local fisherman. He's buddies with a bunch of locals here.
