Thread: Moss 4/18/18

I just knew that the crappie would be on the bank today and I was determined to fish shallow (it's not my favorite tactic), so I only took two casting rods and a small bag of jigs. Maybe they were on the bank, but I didn't do the right thing to catch them. Fished from sunrise until about 12:30 and only caught 14 crappie, three bream and a spot. There were no eggs in any of the fish! I did see fish on the depth finder out in the creek channels, but as I stated, I didn't have much of an arsenal to attack with. The water temps were from about 59 to about 63 depending on area and time of day. Oh well, it'll be better next time!

I would have thought they would be on the banks yesterday, But I figured the water temp would have been warmer too. you got some good fish there, I was at wateree and the cats were biting!!! Wore me out by myself!
