Have used this color combo for many years and just decided to add a little different flash to see how it looks, but is just a phone pic so we see, lol!

Thank you guys! Yes I have used this color combo since about 1979 when I fist used it on a Roadrunner. So it's been fishing a lot and probably longer than it needs for testing purpose, lol! I figure 38-39 years testing is enough huh?

Christmas jig was just a name I gave it about 12 -14 years ago and really has nothing to do with Christmas time or winter, lol!

It's a Flame Red head and many think it's Orange, but Pro-Tec's Orange is Blaze Orange and while close to this, it's more Orange, lol!
The tail is a FL Yellow, but it's not my usual Hareline Neck Hackle. I like this shade better personally while I think most guys like the Hareline version more as it's more Yellow. I believe this shade comes from WAPSI or maybe from Cascade Crest? I have had these for a long time, years long so not sure where they can be had now, but I would try Crazy Angler or Barlow's Tackle. I say all that because of how much I like this more pale shade and after all it a Florescent color to it's gonna get seen!

    Excellent combo, my go to.
My jig tying mentor put me on it many years ago after saying he's fished it his whole life. That's a lifetime of catching fish, .....proven
