    Default Pine Creek

Drove to Pine Creek today. Man at gate at Little River park said water level still 7 to 8 ft. high. C and B and D areas still closed. Areas A,H,E and G seem to be in good shape. Lost rapids campground where we were last June is pretty much cleaned up. Some of the sites at waters edge still have picnic tables partly under water. The ramp walkway there was not as steep as last June.

When you leave the ramp and go to the right under the bridge, then come up to the bridge on the right that extend out into water, but stops in out in the middle, last June was 10-12 ft. out the water, you can now tie up your boat to it like a normal boat ramp! This was before all the rain we got this evening! WOW what a spring.

That sort of confirms what 9mmTeacher reported earlier. If it's 7-8 ft high now the new winter pool will be about 438' which is 5' higher than when we we there last year. It may not come down to winter pool because he reported the new summer pool would be 442.5'. That's only about 4-5 ft from where it is right now. Anyway, I'll find out in a couple weeks cause that's where I plan to be. Area A.

RV. My wife & possibly granddaughter will be with me the first couple of days and then Bigfin will be there around the 29th, I think. I'll probably go back to Tenkiller after the first weekend in May. It's muddy as Eufaula right now but should be good by the time I get back there.

Looks like as of today they have it down to what was reportedly going to be the new Summer pool and it's still going down. What with this crazy Spring we have had I think the spawn will get going during the next few weeks. Slab sent me my Bilbob approved Slab Sauce just in time.

It's looking good. Down to 435' and they have slowed the release down. Nice weather forecasts.Name: bobber.gif
